City of London Sea Cadets biennial Royal Naval Parade Inspection 4th July 2017

The Master and Clerk were honoured to be included amongst the VIP guests at the biennial Royal Naval Parade of our affiliated Sea Cadets unit City of London Sea Cadets based on HMS Belfast.  It was very much a family occasion because the parade was inspected by WCIB Liveryman Cdr James Nisbet VR.  James is  the Area Commanding Officer for Sea Cadets in the London region.  The cadets showed a high standard of drill and during evolutions they demonstrated and described some of the skills they had been learning partly funded by donations from the WCIB.  Our thanks to the Officer in Charge of City of London Sea Cadets  Sub Lt (SCC) Andy Unger RNR and all his team.

Cadets versus visitors striking camp.  Who'd have thought you could put up a tent on the deck of a warship?
