FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP (FSG)

The Worshipful Company of International Bankers is a member of the Financial Services Group of livery companies.

About the Financial Services Group

The Financial Services Group of Livery Companies was founded in 2006 to co-ordinate support from the financial and business services sector for the Lord Mayor, the Court of Aldermen and the City of London Corporation.

The Worshipful Company of International Bankers is one of the 14 livery companies on the Financial Services Group, plus the Guild of Investment Managers which holds Observer status. Other FSG companies include the Accountants, Actuaries, Solicitors, Insurers and Marketors.

The Financial Services Group of Livery Companies is the largest such group in the Livery and meets formally four times a year to exchange views and organise a series of events. Currently the Worshipful Company of International Bankers' representative on FSG is Senior Warden Elect, Nick Garnish.

The FSG organises an annual meeting of livery company Masters, a regular Livery Survey & Playback and also arranges events such as The Sustainable Finance panel. In addition, The Sheriffs’ Challenge, which is an annual speaking event for Year 12 students from London schools, is held under the auspices of the FSG, and is organised by the Worshipful Company of Educators.
