Following the cancellation of the Spring and Summer meetings, the Golf Society was extremely grateful to Swinley Forest Golf Club for hosting our Autumn meeting on Thursday 1st October in a very safe environment. Sandwiched between days of very wet weather, the day was bathed in sunshine and great golf was enjoyed by all.
The WCIB continues to support the St-Mary-le-Bow Young Homeless Project run from the church of St Mary-le-Bow Cheapside where the Rector is the Company's Honorary Chaplain. Here is an update from Michael Kenny Director of the project on their recent work.

We were delighted to welcome students from the 2019/20 cohort of the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme to the WCIB Annual Banquet at Mansion House on 26th February 2020 together with Neill O'Connor, Secretary to the scheme and their mentors from the Company.
On 28th January 2020 nine new Freemen of the Company made their Declarations in front of the Master, Wardens and Court at Furniture Makers' Hall.
