Briefing with the presumptive Lord Mayor

Join fellow WCIB members for an engaging discussion hosted by Master Angela Knight CBE where Alderman Alastair King DL will share his vision for the Mayoralty. He will also address some of the key challenges the City faces and explain how he sees the livery movement evolving to better face the future. This will be followed by a Q&A session.

About Alastair King
Alderman Alastair King DL is the Founder and Chairman of Naisbitt King Asset Management Limited, an independent, FCA regulated fund management firm, headquartered in the City of London. He started his career as a lawyer and practised as a solicitor at a leading international law firm.
He was first elected as a Common Councillor for the Ward of Queenhithe in 1999, was then elected Alderman in 2016 and served as Sheriff of the City of London 2022-2023.
Alastair has served on a wide range of City of London Corporation Committees including the Finance Committee and the Culture, Heritage and Libraries Committee. Alastair sits on the Governing Bodies of the Bridewell Royal Hospital, the Samuel Wilson Loans Trust, Morden College and Emanuel Hospital.
A Liveryman of 11 City Livery Companies, Alastair also serves as Chairman of The British Liver Trust and Chairman of Onside Youth Zone, Haringey Project.
