The Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Peter Estlin, Immediate Past Master of Worshipful Company of International Bankers (WCIB) opened the Apprentice19 careers fair held at the Guildhall on 18th/19th June 2019.  WCIB Freeman Daniel Yates represented J.P. Morgan at the event which saw over 2,000 students aged 16–18 and over 60 exhibiting companies attend.  Students had the chance to learn about apprenticeship opportunities at companies from a range of industries, including financial services. The WCIB was invited to exhibit at the fair by the Worshipful Company of Stationers.

Apprenticeship programmes are an increasingly important route into a career in banking for school leavers who choose not to go to university. The J.P. Morgan apprenticeship programme offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of financial services and the chance to obtain industry-recognized qualifications while working alongside expert professionals. Apprentices will develop a professional network, hear from senior leaders and learn from the best in the business. By applying classroom learning to make meaningful contributions to the business, they’ll have both the technical and practical skills to take their  career in any direction.

We value diversity of thought, background and experience and we’re looking for those with many different skills to join one of our many teams. Find out more about J.P. Morgan’s apprenticeship and work experience opportunities below.
