During Covid-19, looking after our own and each other’s mental health and well-being is even more important than normal.
Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the WCIB will take part in the Green Ribbon Campaign, run by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, whose Advisory Board I chair. The aim of the campaign is to #endthestigma around mental health, with this year’s theme being ‘Kindness’, both to ourselves and to others.

In line with our theme for the year, ‘Open door, Open City: embracing diversity in all its forms’, we aim to bring the Company into the forefront of the 21st century.
For our already inclusive culture to continue to reflect the diversity of the City we serve, Mental Health will be part of the focus of our recently formed Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Sub Committee, led by Angela Greenough Angela.Greenough@cms-cmno.com
To ensure our D&I activities are in support of all our members, we are eager to hear your feedback. We will include a few D&I questions in our next Company survey due to run over the summer. I encourage you all to share your thoughts.
